The 2023 Fox Superflow® sealed by Stan’s and Rocky Trail Academy Season opened with two back to back weekends in QLD with two record races: 456 competitors sold out Eastern Escarpment for the Superflow® and 332 starters at the schools competition on the Friday after.

QLD opens Season with Pro Stage

The QLD Season Opener at Eastern Escarpment offered 3 stages on both Saturday and Sunday with an additional 4th on the second day for the Pro Stage. Jack Druery won the Superflow® and Pro Stage classifications ahead of Alex Shadbolt. Stu Cali was third in the Superflow® and Jim Thompson took out third in the Pro. In the U19’s it was last year’s U17 QLD Series winner Kai Pyyvaara who took out the category ahead of the NSW winner, Tom Jenkins from Port Macquarie. In the women’s U19s racer Annie Mayne clocked in the fastest time ahead of amazing U15’s talent Charli Edwick. Jayne Rutter was the fastest Elite racer and Kate Bell was the Masters winner, who also won the Pro women’s classification outright.

The QLD Series continues in Toowoomba on 6+7 May (incl. Pro Stage) with a Rocky Trail Academy addition on the Friday as well.
