Orange, NSW (November 10, 2024) – Over 200 gravity enduro riders from across New South Wales and the ACT descended on Orange for the final round of the NSW/ACT Enduro Series, the Fox Superflow®. The event, hosted by Rocky Trail Entertainment, showcased the region’s mountain bike trails and the talent of the local mountain biking community.
The Superflow® format, renowned for its social and challenging nature, saw riders tackle three timed race stages interspersed with untimed transition stages. This unique format allows riders to enjoy the entire experience without the pressure of strict time limits or race orders. The demanding trails of Glenwood State Forest, which required riders to ascend 360 meters to reach the start of each stage, proved to be a true test of skill and endurance.
Wilkin Payens from Faulconbridge claimed the Elite Men’s title with dominant performances on two of the three stages. Yuta Leffers from Canberra, who set the fastest time on the longest and challenging “Trail of Awesomeness” stage, secured second place. Ruben Scarr, a remarkable 14-year-old from the Central Coast, rounded out the podium in third.

Daniel Bender from Bathurst came in fourth and David Ludenia from the Blue Mountains was in fifth. In the women’s category, Rebecca Sams from North Tamworth, competing in the U17 division, emerged as the fastest female rider overall.

As part of the competition, the “MTB Direct Spirit Award” was presented to Yuta Leffers, the Elite Men’s runner-up. The Canberran not only impressed with his speed on the challenging Orange trails, but also with his positive attitude. Clocking nearly 70km and 2700m of elevation over the two-day event, Yuta’s determination was evident. His friendly demeanor and professionalism on the course earned him the prestigious MTB Direct Spirit Award, a testament to his sportsmanship and character.
Local Member Philip Donato expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The Fox Superflow is a fantastic showcase of the awesome mountain biking terrain we have right here in Orange. Events like this not only attract visitors to our region, boosting local businesses and the economy, but also inspire the next generation of riders. I commend Rocky Trail Entertainment for consistently delivering high-quality events and contributing to the growth of mountain biking in Australia.”
