Stromlo Fox Superflow® Delivers Tightest Racing Yet – Double First Place in Elite Men’s Category!

The Fox Superflow® at Stromlo Forest Park lived up to its name this past weekend, with the closest finish line ever witnessed at a Rocky Trail event! Lewis Allbon (CBR) and Tom Locke (SYD) crossed the finish line in the Elite Men’s category with an identical time of 11:22.4, resulting in an extremely rare co-championship! The event was supported by Visit Canberra.

The competition was fierce throughout all stages, with Toby Stewart (CBR) claiming third place just over 20 seconds behind the leaders. The results speak volumes about the demanding course and exceptional skill of the riders.

This exciting event wasn’t just about the top podium positions. A total of 594 competitors battled it out on the trails over the three days, joined by an additional 250 visitors, sponsors, and crew. The Rocky Trail Academy added to the vibrant atmosphere by bringing nearly 150 student racers to UC Stromlo on the Friday.

The inaugural Rocky Trail eBike Demo was a resounding success, showcasing the latest offerings from six major brands: Gasgas, Husqvarna, Trek, Fantic, Pivot, and VMG. Throughout the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to test ride these eBikes on the course and explore a wide variety of deals and offers from participating exhibitors.

Despite chilly temperatures on Sunday, the smiles said it all! The Stromlo Superflow® proved to be a fantastic weekend of racing, camaraderie, and innovation within the mountain biking community.
