Rider Briefing | Fox Superflow® Silvan VIC 2025

We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to the epic, Silvan MTB Park for our next Victorian Fox Superflow! Are you ready to race the way you ride in Superflow® style?

Venue Info

We are thrilled to announce that this year, we have again been granted a special exemption to host our event within the breathtaking National Park. This unique opportunity allows us to celebrate in the heart of nature’s beauty. However, it comes with a responsibility to protect the park’s wildlife and natural environment.

To ensure the success of our event and the preservation of this pristine area, we kindly request that all participants adhere to the following permit conditions:

• No Dogs Are Allowed on Site: In accordance with park regulations, please leave your furry companions at home or make arrangements for their care outside the event area. This policy is in place to protect both wildlife and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
• Leave No Trace: We are committed to the “Leave No Trace” principles, which emphasize responsible outdoor ethics. Please join us in maintaining the park’s natural beauty by following these guidelines:

Parking

Traffic: Caution should be taken turning off Olinda Creek Rd into Track 13 gate. A parking marshal will be at the turn off to assist with parking.

Event Registration and Hub will be located within the Silvan Mountain Bike Park on the fire break either sides of Track 13 approximately 500m from the turn off Olinda Creek Rd.

Parking: will be approximately 300m from the entrance off Olinda Creek Rd.

SPECIAL ENTRY CONDITIONS – No dogs allowed as the venue and tracks are within a designated National Park.

Clear conditions until late Sunday afternoon when showers are expected. Temps a low of 5c in the morning to a high of 19c.

To be in the Fox Superflow® results, complete at least one of each of the 3 race stages – you get 5 possible runs on each and the fastest time per track will count towards the result.

Rocky Trail Entertainment requires every participant on an e-Bike to agree to additional addendum on the Race Waiver, guaranteeing the compliance of the e-bike with the Australian Standards at the time of the event and acknowledge the risk associated with non-compliance.

We will also be conducting checks on all e-Bikes throughout the event to maintain a level playing field for all riders.

Food & Refreshments

We will have a coffee and food van on site throughout the event to keep you suitably fed and caffeinated!

Coffee vendor – The daily fix will be ready and serving from 7.30am both days with Falafel Van serving from 10am both days.

Fox Track

FOX track is the full length of “Temple of Zoom”. 1.4km and drops 140m

Stans Track

STANS track shares the start with FOX and LAZER heads down Melba Track before cutting onto a section of “Twisted Sister” for about 100m before cutting again onto the descending section of “Bakers Dozen”. 1.4km long and drops 140m.

Lazer Track

Lazer track also shares the same start with FOX and STANS and drops into “Downhill#4” for it’s full length. 1.4km long and drops 130m

• No towing or shuttling permitted at anytime during racing
• Follow our orange “Neutral To Start” signs from the event hub to ride to the start of all of our trails.
• To return to the event hub after completing your runs please follow our orange “Neutral To Event Hub” signs
• Please do not shortcut the liaisons as they have been designed to keep riders away from “live” race trails ensuring safety for all riders.

You don’t need to be a member of any cycling association to race with Rocky Trail. Some offer great insurance packages which are worthwhile checking out and you are in charge of your own health insurance when racing with us.
