Location & Tracks:

Address: 1 Karingal Rd, Mount Cotton QLD 4165

Event Hub: within the Karingal Scout Park. Robs Kitchen activity area provides amply room for team tents, food vans and plenty of parking.  Plus easy access into the trail network and climbing track to the start areas.

Access : via Mount Cotton Road into Karingal Road.

Parking: ALL RIDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARK AND SETUP WITHIN THE SCOUT PARK NOT ALONG WEST MOUNT COTTON ROAD. All event services including registration, medical, timing, food, coffee, toilets will be located at Robs Kitchen bottom of the descent trails.

Rocky Trail Entertainment works closely with the local clubs and land owners or venue managers to make sure each event has the lowest environment impact as possible.  We also donate a portion per riders entry fee to the club to help them further develop the trails.

  • Random Draw sponsor prize winners across the weekend: To find out if you are winner, check your online results during the day and collect your prize. Note – All prizes need to be collected at the event otherwise the prize is forfeited.


  • GASGAS eBikes – check out the newest eBikes on the Australian market and chat to their local dealer from MotorcyclesRUS.
  • Mt Cotton Riders Alliance crew will be onsite and racing. Stop and say hi and see how you can get involved into the club and trails.
  • ADF Australian Defence Force Recruitment – chat to the team riders on-site.
  • Need bike suspension help or repair. Chat to the team in the NSDynamics marquee

Food & Drinks:

  • Dapper & Chic onsite from 10am both days
  • Groupset Coffee onsite both days!
  • Water – Bring your own supplies, limited water on site.
  • Marquees welcome. see the crew and set up in the event hub area.
  • NO rubbish bins on site. Please take your rubbish home and recycle to help the environment.


Our event venue at Mt Cotton/Eastern Escarpment Conservation Area is only a 45min drive from the NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park on the Gold Coast. Perfect for those coming from the South – plus you can ride Nerang MTB Park that’s about 30min South from the property on your non-race day!

Race Format

Superflow® Classic + PRO Format: Pick Sat or Sun as race day. Additional 4-stage PRO Race on Sunday.

  • Classic Superflow®: Riders may pick Saturday OR Sunday as their Race day.
  • Superflow® PRO: If you do the PRO format your entry gives you 2 days of racing.
    • Ride Saturday in the Fox Superflow® with up to 5 runs of each of the 3 tracks – you get a valid Saturday result for this classic format and this is included as a “practice day” on those 3 stages.
    • Ride Sunday in Fox Superflow® PRO with 1 single run on each of 4 tracks (3 plus the additional 4th PRO Stage).
    • In the PRO Race format , competitors will have to adhere to a strict start order and time frame – schedule below:


  • 11:00-11:30 LAZER
  • 12:00-12:30 FOX
  • 1:00-1:30 STANS
  • 2:00-2:30 MTB/MAXXIS PRO

Awesome to have GASGAS on board for our Electroflow™ eBike-specific classification! These bikes have just hit the Australian market – they have Spanish roots and are part of the Austrian-based Pierer Mobility Group (which Rocky Trail’s Austro-Australian Founders secretly love!), where the technology that goes into the big line-up of models benefits of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right in the heart of Europe.

These bikes are a bit CHEEKY, they’re all about FUN, ROOSTING, they’re ready shred and ROCK – we reckon they’ll fit right into our Rocky Trail community vibe, literally boosting the GASGAS Electroflow™ into its next chapter of the Superflow® history.

You’ll be able to demo and test ride these awesome bikes at MANY events across NSW, VIC, QLD and the ACT, of course! Let’s go!

  • All track runs are live timed so check your result as you cross the line.
  • Prizes – Podium Gift Vouchers by MTB DIRECT for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each category will be emailed AFTER the weekend. Gift vouchers can be redeemed on MTB Direct’s extensive range of mountain biking gear and accessories.
  • New in 2024: MTB Direct Spirit Award Winner – one rider per race will be selected by the Rocky Trail panel based on merit, including determination, grit, endurance and engagement. The Spirit Award Winner will receive a MTB Direct Gift Card.

Cloudy skies with a chance of showers. Temps between 17-20C, perfect racing conditions.

What else is on?

A good 300+ Rocky Trail Academy racers are on course on the Friday. Their race will finish at 1:30pm. Check the website for the tracks they are using, if you’re planning to come early and ride on the Friday. Check in with the crew and they can point you in the right direction.

Recycle – Reduce Waste 

Rocky Trail is committed to reduce land waste from events. We ask all participants to take home your waste and sort into your household bins. Limited bins will be on site. Please sort rubbish into the waste bins and recycle bins. All Rocky Trail Events are Nature Tourism Eco-Certified. Find out more…


You don’t need to be a member of any cycling association to race with Rocky Trail. Some offer great insurance packages which are worthwhile checking out and you are in charge of your own health insurance when racing with us.
