TRACK UPDATE:

Our National Operations Manager inspected the originally planned trails for the STANS track on the weekend together with the club committee. Because the Superflow® doesn’t enforce full face helmet rules, it was decided to take out the Monkey Chase section of the track – this would have been a shared start with Faulk Line (the FOX track, no changes there).

What does that mean:

  • New, lower start location for STANS.
    • Different neutral liaison track (you can ride to it from the bottom of “Wild Polly” (which is the finish of the FOX track) and there is a liaison option directly from the event centre too. Both are online and will be marked with Rocky Trail-branded signs.
    • You will cross Jenkins Road, as we wanted to extend the race track to the new trail sections on the lower side of that.
    • You will hit the flow section that the club used at the recent Nationals event before crossing Jenkins road into the development track to finish below the event hub. We will have a marshall point at the crossing.
    • New distance 1.2km long, 80vm.
  • FOX track – no change: After the long liaison riders will enjoy the “Biraban” descent onto “Wild Polly’s“. Track is 1.8km long and drops 160m
  • LAZER track – no change: Every popular “Faulk Line” linking onto the upgraded section of the XC loop to finish at the event hub. 1.1km long and drops 110m.

New: GASGAS Electroflow™

Awesome to have GASGAS on board for our Electroflow™ eBike-specific classification! These bikes have just hit the Australian market – they have Spanish roots and are part of the Austrian-based Pierer Mobility Group (which Rocky Trail’s Austro-Australian Founders secretly love!), where the technology that goes into the big line-up of models benefits of the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right in the heart of Europe.

These bikes are a bit CHEEKY, they’re all about FUN, ROOSTING, they’re ready shred and ROCK – we reckon they’ll fit right into our Rocky Trail community vibe, literally boosting the GASGAS Electroflow™ into its next chapter of the Superflow® history.

You’ll be able to demo and test ride these awesome bikes at MANY events across NSW, VIC, QLD and the ACT, of course! Let’s go!

When you attend our events, please take only memories, immerse yourself into nature, enjoy spending time with like-minded people on ‘rocky trails’ and please, leave only footprints and tyre marks on the sanctioned trails and in the event perimeter marked out, if you’re a racer.
